Hello!

I maintain that my severe brain injury is a thing of the past!

For can anyone with someone with severe brain injury could keep two blogs while running?

www.Cerebraldysfunction.info and www.Mobildoktorn.com with both the Swedish and in English!

The above would also be difficult to completely undamaged brains!

Even to be able to sing karaoke in mobile phone! As you can see in my speech 08-08-13 in the blog www.Mobildoktorn.com called "Karaoke in mobile phone" which is worth for both healthy and sick to visit!

The Medical care not take my playful rehabilitation of serious or so have they blinkers, but it does not matter, to me that it GREAT that I have become!

In my previous severe brain injury I've had a few thoughts?

It is unbelievable despite my right hand dysmotoric, I can keep just enough hard in a milk package and put it in the fridge without either lose it or hug it broke!

My final for 2008 is "If you know someone who had a stroke or traumatic brain injury as me, TELL them about my "Highway” to be restored, and even better in many respects!

I'm living proof that everything is possible!

Christmas greetings

Hello!

I http://www.mobildoktorn.com/, wish my blog readers a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I should probably before the new year of 2009 write more posts!

I am on the side of my attempts to eliminate my neurological disorders in the right body half, also on the clinical tests on the "magic bullet" that seems to be a big shot!

Besides my wife and brother in law comments, that I had fuller hair, I even received a comment in mobile phone shop 3in of Kista Galleria!

A staff member commented "You've got more grass on the head" so I will be in addition to also own observations even MORE convinced medicine can be ANYTHING!

But I will continue with clinical tests and observations!

NOW to return to Cerebraldysfunction!

I am totally convinced that the tools I used to get well again are PHENOMENAL!

First advice from GOD "Göte Speed up your brain", 'which I did with computer-game Tetris, and then cognitive help by using mobile phones!

In Mobile phone, I became soon sms expert, but also taught me how to install GPRS and E-mail and since I done work on many mobile phones soon as I could do it byheart!

I've also got karaoke in mobile phone for karaoke is a perfect tool for speech, memory and rhythm.
You can see in a speech in Mobildoktorn.com about "Use and fun in mobile phone" and it is really a big shot!

I have previously written about in a speech to write blog!

I am training the memory and to be able to write and because I also have an English version of my blogs so I practice the written English!

I train even strength in the right hand, so no one in Indonesia or Sweden forget my strong firm handshake!

There are certainly several rehabilitation methods!

However, I maintain the way I passed would be the most successful!

I done like Frank Sinatra sing "I did it my way"

Perhaps a miracle-working medication for better hair?

Hello!

I continue with my target playful rehabilitation of my traumatic brain injuries.

I have in my quest to eliminate my neurological damage, by chance been told by both my wife and brother-in-law that, I previously started to become something thin haired have now a fuller and stronger hair growth on my head!

I felt it like a big shot, how many men in the whole world would not like to have a better hair on the head?

Until now I continue with my clinical assessment/test of what may be a miracle!

Can there really be any medication against hair loss? (Bald) My tests will be as thorough as for mobilephone testing as I reported in my blog http://www.mobildoktorn.com/

I stress after all, my injury REALLY emphasize the side-effect that I have become more sluggish/slow at the start, slow to get started with something new!

It may be a fear of failure?

Non Cerebral dysfunction????

Hello!

My playful rehabilitation has started to give result and I will dedicate myself to eliminate my neurological impairments in the right half of the body!

One idea has come to me, that the blog maybe now be called non Cerebraldysfunction.info. But my neurological disorder comes, after all, from my brain.

I will in this speech, hear what my blog readers Cerebraldysfunction.info have opinions?

Is it possible that in my blog www.Mobildoktorn.com during the speech "use & fun in the mobile phone" to have karaoke in the mobile phone and also be able to sing the tempo filled "Dagny"(A fast Swedish tempo song) or the lovely "Love letters in the sand" that even not even undamaged people can cope !

I stress once again that this injury has given me so much, which I would not like to have it undone! (The unluck, which dropped "un")

Playful rehabilitation and "flower" to Harald

Hello!

My playful rehabilitation continues and I would like to give a "flower" to my Norwegian friend Harald Indgul that on one occasion commented that "Göte your knowledge with mobile phones, may not go into the grave," I replied that I am not going to the grave for a long time. He then replied "If I can help you startup a blog, you can continue later," I replied that I am now very "sluggish" in start, but after starting so I will be like a waterfall = inability to stop me!

A negative side effect of my braindamage is that many thing are difficult to begin, but then I started it will be a rush!

I have up today received some warm comments that it feels right to continue bloging. I also believe firmly that there was a meaning that I would be seriously brain damaged.

I have managed to eliminate my braindamage and invest now wholeheartedly to eliminate my neurological damage, and a bloger Liselott had promised to tell me about how I can wakeup the nerves in my right hand!

I was/is trying to be a winner and refuse to lose against an opponent so pathetic as a damaged brain!

I hope this blog that has both Swedish and English version can "trigger" other sick or injured to not give up without trying to become a winner like me over the illness/injury

Continuing cognitive training and situation-analysis

Hello!

My playful rehabilitation continued and writing in my blogs that really keeps my earlier damaged brain in action. I put out my jaw again and says "I would not like to have my accident been undone"

For my unluck have lost the un and become luck!

Why? Asks perhaps many!

With all the benefits of my disability has given me so I feel (it is the most important) that because I have no suffering/ pain and in Sweden help with disability benefits, parking cards for disabled, etc.

But probably the most important thing I have become more deeper and spiritual!

I can describe my situation as "To before my injury I was a fast surface water swimmer and now I can not swim as fast, but now I can dive a bit and see all the beautiful coral and fish!"!

I was also lucky to be damaged in a time of many cognitive IT tools that could get my brain rehabilitated.

I also had an incredible luck, for the head Doctor said at my requested discharge "Göte you must have had guardian angel, for most who receive similar injury tend to have tunnel/double vision/sights"

In my case, everything was OK and after driving testing, I could to start car-driving again! WHAT A BIG SHOT!

Cognitive training with blogs & mobile phones

Hello!

I continue my cognitive training with mobile phones! Results can be seen in my other blog that I write alongside this blog.

The blog called www.Mobildoktorn.com I have previously written that mobiles are a great cognitive tool.

And with interest and practice with mobile phones, I have become a "big shot" in mobile phone use.

For that I last wrote in the Post to start my severe brain damage be soon only a memory.

Now I use much energy on my neurological damage on the right body part also must disappear!

With my right hand, I often sit and take turns to separate the fingers far apart and I will start with the index finger and separate it so much I can from the middle finger and continues until all fingers have been subjected to the same gym!

I expect that with this way to awake more nerves in the hand that has improved but I am convinced that with deep concentration on the hand/finger gymnastics, so had to be the brain that allow the nerves to look for new ways and finally found the new "nerve highways."

I have previously called for the “BIG lifting” and with my experience of my blog-writing it may be a rather big boost for my cognitive characteristics.

I train the memory and to write in a blog requires both concentration and perseverance, and with that bloggs are both in Swedish and English version brings to my written English is better! I 'cheat' a bit in translation by using www.Mobildoktorn.com there in the side column "useful links" Google translator that is a big shot.

PS: A good trick is when needing to piss? Think/concentrate on the right big toe!

Cognitive training with mobile phones & cold shower at the right leg

Hello!

With cognitive training now on mobiles phones, to be able to install programs, I can now say that the rate/condition is normally as the suites after my severe brain damage almost gone!

But I know that it still needed some cognitive training to make it quite good!

I have become a bit lit in Indonesia after a man with a coin scraped my right arm and "aroused" some nerves in my right hand/arm. For my hand was difficult to open.

Since I still neurological damage in my right body half, so at each shower, so I start with "iced" water against my right leg with the hope that the cold water will "awaken" more nerves in the right leg.

I walk as I have written before with a silver crutch and therefore look not so handicapped.

It works well most, and I grieve not that I use a cane, which looks very handsome like. (Silver crutch)

I have been elected as a member of SOLLENTUNA Disability council where I feel I am very useful given that I was hurt bad and Traffic Engineer before the injury!

BUT I still wait for the BIG lifting cognitively! Although I have become so good!

And it will come soon!

Now SKYPE in the Nokia N95

Hello!

NOW, I have SKYPE in my mobile phone Nokia N95 I have also in www.Mobildoktorn.com wanted some help with "input" but did not receive any help.

But an active progress of Mobile Doctor does not give up without trying to resolve the case with to use SKYPE in the Nokia N95 and finally able to install SKYPE beta version (trial version), which has website for mobile phones with www.skype.com/m and putted in an unregistered sim cards for the test! By using W-lan that I have home!

At test in Nokia N95, I received a SKYPE call from Kent in northern Norway, who had previously "nagget" at me to acquire SKYPE, and he was surprised, BUT could see in his SKYPE account that it was only a dealing up of 0.69 SEK, and although we talked for 11 minutes to it was no fee per minute! To my incredible joy, so it worked!

But still I feel a degree of uncertainty with SKYPE.

But SKYPE is still apparently in a beginner's stage, but with training and experience and that SKYPE will of a selected the city tested version, and then it can become a "big shot"!

SKYPE & God breathes on me

Hello!

Regarding phone call with the Nokia N95 with SKYPE, I have info. To download www.Fring.com!

I will return when I tested and can use SKYPE to function in the mobile phone.

I have good "connections" to the GPS with the Nokia N95 and to my other mobiles good contact to my mobile phone operators.

The most important connection for me is my close/remote contact with the power that created us! Since I am religious independence I have contact directly to the power called GOD!

As I have previously written, I have since 2003 with the idea that I could not pray in a normal way, but I appealed to GOD "Please GOD breathe on me" and with it, I do not think GOD "breathe" in a secular way, but fills me with a "tiny" drop divinity!

I wonder whom/which so strongly pressed me to write about "Please GOD breathe on me" I write with the joy of this experience (Can might help someone)

Why?

I would not with the sole force able to achieve the status I have now = Almost/Completely restored after my severe traumatic brain injury.

I would ideally like to stop time, but I soon just will be 62 years, which can be seen in Sweden www.Mobildoktorn.com at the side column "Useful links! Birthday.se

There must be something STRONGLY that "triggers" me to the current position.

By the way, "Trigger" I will try to let it become a Swedish approved word, for it says so much!

SKYPE

Hello!

I have previously written speech on IP Telephony (Phone call via broadband in Internet) in www. Mobildoktorn.com and it works very well!

A school friend from elementary school, who now works in North Norway, has “nagget” at me to acquire SKYPE, but with regard to my old brain injury, I have been slow to reach the shots.

But now I have acquired SKYPE, and has in the initial phase discovered the "big shot" SKYPE is!

Being able to make free phone call to all who have SKYPE and very low fees to other phone numbers of foreign as Swedish!

SKYPE is not news, but for me it is, for before I got hurt, so did not SKYPE exist.

It feels great to be able to sit in front of the computer and work, while making a phone call with someone who is "Online" with the Internet.

I am still in the beginner's stage, but with these unprecedented features, I intend soon to become very knowledgeable in the use SKYPE.

I have been informed that Sony Ericsson P1 with W-lan will be able to take advantage of SKYPE if you download a program that is intended for SKYPE phone call.

My Nokia N95 has also W-lan and I am now investigating the possibility that even with Nokia N95 can be able to make calls with SKYPE.

I intend to continue to explore the above opportunity!

Karaoke & Tetris alternative brain injury treatment?

Hello!

I have received both mobile calls and sms that I should affect medical science on both Tetris as brain gym, and karaoke for the speech etc

And BET has worked for me and why not on others with cerebral dysfunction (Brain Damage) but I see some difficulties with that, for health care has its "standards" to follow and my playful rehabilitation can work for strange GOOD?

Given the serious vision is to brain damage!

Since it can also be difficult for a "user" to try to come up with a new way to get well again!

I have after all, tipping off all medical staff that I met on my blog www.Cerebraldysfunction.info

But until now, not yet received any response!

As usual I put out my jaw! Ha ha

Given that no one has commented or written comments, can I take it that EVERYTHING I wrote is right?

If everything is correct, that would warm my heart, because then it would have to be a sense it was a meaning that I was severely brain damaged and my experience can help others!

Since I in my most games usually try and win, in this "game" I have really become the GREAT Winner!

That from a severely brain damaged become an active "bloger"!

Continuation of playful rehabilitation

Hello!

I need not to repeat now what I feel that GOD breathe on me, and I continued to train my concentration and stamina to install applications in my mobiles phones.

The result was that I became very knowledgeable in the field.

I was also appointed to the editorial to mobile magazine Mobil, and was so few years until the new editor-in-chief thought that it is enough public comment, but I do not think it must be a "driving-soul" to make it good!

Please look into my blog www.Mobildoktorn.com where I have a speech on the inaccuracies in the newspaper Mobil, which DESPITE my earlier remarks not are corrected.

In addition to cognitive workouts with mobilephones has Yahoo.com has also been a great help to communication in English via e-mail to my foreign friends.

I have also www.Mobildoktorn.com written speech on "Utility and entertainment/fun in mobile phones"! And where in the "fun" written on mobile karaoke, which for me has become a big shot.

Karaoke is probably one of the better tools for brain-training because it is active music, both rhythm and training for the speech.

I like to say that karaoke is a kind of "healing" of the brain, and it is PRACTICAL, to have karaoke in the mobile phone as it usually in a pocket!

It may be a "big shot" at after a dinner that is becoming boring start up with fast singing Ove Thörnqvist "Dagny" or a sweet "Love me tender" by Elvis Presley or soft 'Love letter in the sand" by Pat Boone.

GOD breathing pretty much

Hello!

Besides GOD breathing pretty much on me, I train my concentration and stamina to install the GPRS and e-mail into my mobile phones.

I have changed my e-mail from Hotmail to Yahoo when I discovered that Yahoo has also spell feature that I have not found in Hotmail, and even bigger inbox.

In Yahoo.com with the spelling function in English and it increased my confidence to write to my foreign friends in English, for my spoken English is pretty good but I have no more accustomed to writing.

In Yahoo.se with the spelling function in Swedish, which is perfect if I sit abroad, and write with a keyboard that has not å, ä, ö for if I wanted to write my name Göte it will be Gote, and when I later check the spelling function it cant recognize Gote but suggests that it will be Göte. With the above everything will be much easier and my self-confidence, that had been radically reduced because my brain damage is now on the increase way.

I no longer need to "Speed up my brain" but play still Tetris for fun, and I use my right hand to practice my dysmotoric in my right hand.

I continue my playful rehabilitation!

Trying mini bike

Hello!

I think apart the speaking progress, that my rehabilitation is not moving forward at the pace I would like!

In early 21rst century, however, was a step forward when I tried cycling with our daughter's mini-bike, which is up-folding bike called Micro Bike.

First attempt, by that I am riding overturned in a PLASH in a spot of water before my wife's eyes.

I was ashamed, but shame on giving themselves up, and soon I dominated this Micro Bike, which would be difficult drive even for no injuries persons.

I have never been able to pray to GOD, but since 2003 (I have with previous attempts 1997 at conversation with GOD), started to appeal to GOD "Please GOD breathe on me" I do not think GOD breathe on me, like in a human way, but fills me with a millionth of a drop of divinity.

I can safely say that this procedure has worked for me, for the past I could say or do something I later regretted.

Because since 2003 everything goes my way! I have no regrets for what I say or do.

Have also noted that many feel well about my neighbourhood, and I asked a friend who is a doctor "Do you think I will give you good energy" and after a short time the answer was "Yes you do!"

Time passes and I continue my rehabilitation in a playful way, must nevertheless conclude that "it goes slowly but uncertain forward" Ha ha

On a brighter future

Hello!

Yes my speech is on the way to even better and I feel it is wonderful to communicate again!

But I still need a lot of cognitive training.

When the sms was launched in 1997, it was a big shot for mobile phones and I trained myself with sms to a smsexpert!

I "terror" with many friends with sms, so I was jokingly referred to as "sms bin Laden" Ha ha

A friend said I should get the Internet, but in view of my "brain injury" I felt heavy of my brain, to understand / manage this "fabrication"

1999, so I got first Internet with a dial-up modem.

I soon began to appreciate this information forum, and soon got my first e-mail that Hotmail was because I thought that Yahoo seemed childish.

I felt grateful to have accidentally become brain damaged in an era of many cognitive tools, and I felt my way to be able to be restored seemed bright.

But I had a good way to go. But I felt that is going on.

Improvement of the speech

Hello!

The speech is on its way back through that I managed to "Speed up my brain," and I found Tetris as very fun and good way brain gymnastics for my past so damaged brain!

I was almost fanatical to play Tetris when I got the nuts and bolts of the game had benefited. The Russian who invented the game, I would like to meet!

I have been informed that the game was launched in 1985. And in the United States some warned about Tetris to be a "Soviet way to" brainwash "people.

Besides that, for me to speed up the brain, it was also a good tool to train concentration and perseverance.

With the experience I have gained so I can recommend the game to all, both damaged and undamaged, except for the cerebral gymnastics to get, and it is a very good pastiming game.

The time passing, come to the right, where I am now also has in a mobile phone suited Tetris, which I obtained through the Internet called "Drop Zone"!

Maybe there similar games such as Tetris that may be worth testing, but for my part, Tetris has been GREAT!

The speech is getting better!

Hello!

I have in March 1997 been advised by GOD to "Speed up my brain"!

I was not sure how I would speed up a brain.

I want to run faster you practicing to run, but I am not so happy to run with brain! Ha ha

I had with me a laptop and started to check whether there were any games that might be of interest to the cerebral gymnastics and settled on a computer game called Tetris!

The game is growing with the speed with the higher score you get, it could be something.

From the beginning I lost against everybody, I played with and I decided "Holy" I would be best, and I soon became it but the side effect was great!

I began to feel that it soon became easier to talk, so I was almost fanatical to play the game more, because the more I played the easier it became to speak.

Time in Indonesia went ahead and soon we were back to Sweden.

I visited Danderyd Hospital and all were quite surprised that my speech improved.

I was also told HOW? Can you speak so well now?

It would had been more natural if they had asked me to come and inform physicians, staff and patients about my method of coming back.

But they thought perhaps it would be wrong with a former patient teaching out something that is not in medicine training manual.

Information from GOD

Hello!

I forgot to write, before the month of March 1997, so I had at own request, been transcribed from Danderyd Hospital in September 1996 and then been proposed early retirement.

I must tell you that in June 1996, a doctor called me into his room and said "Can I read from the journal what I wrote about you?"

I said OK and he read the following "Since the patient Göte Burström has a very strong will and a lots of good cognitive qualities, his handicap will not be particularly noticeable in a few years!"

I thought then that the doctor put it a little strange, but with hindsight/facit in hand so he had absolutely right.

Now to 1997 and the month of March! I have never been been a religious person, but given what happened to me (the angelic guard), I have had, and so now has my relationship with GOD deepened!

I talked to GOD when sitting on a terrace at the house we usually stay in Jakarta, Indonesia And said the following words at the slow English "GOD! There is no urgency to help me run or walk beautifully, but it is so damn important that my speech is good!"

I almost fell off my chair, that I sat on when I understood by the whole body how GOD answered "Göte speed up you brain!"

I was initially confused, because no one in health care have spoken so! Then I thought, if now-over-over-over, etc. Doctor of the universe says so, it should perhaps be right!

But how can I speed up a brain?????

The right way and soon THE BIG LIFT!

Hello!

My life has become brighter, BUT why is my recovery so slow?

I can now walk with a cane, a magnificent cane with a silver handle/grip!

I can walk without a cane, but my balance is not entirely good and the stick can be a warning sign for others if I am at any point with a big crowd!

The cane is also good at the uneven terrain or stairs without a handrail.

And because my balance is not quite so good, so many would perhaps think that I may be alcohol influence but the stick/cane protect me for such suspicions.

My speech is still slow and it is difficult to talk and years goes by without I could feel any significant improvement, but I try to do my life as good as I ever could!

And I continue with my rehabilitation at Danderyd Hospital in Sweden and fly on to Indonesia in the winters.

1997 has come, and in the month of March at our Indonesia trip something happen that perhaps many think is a "woolly/dopey?"

But that was the BIG lifting for me!

What happened?

After the driving car assessment

Hello!

Yes in my last speech life began to smile again, for I felt that after I got permission from the doctor to start driving a car again, that was as a sign that not to give up just now from a knocked down person.

I was brutal knocked down. But then on the way to get up!

I continued my rehabilitation at the Danderyd Hospital in Sweden and felt after all, that everything in my rehabilitation was to slow.

Anyhow I was lucky to have married a woman from Indonesia.

And I can give her an honourable and commendable respect for not leaving me when I was like a big baby with napkins, etc.

I was blessed to go to Indonesia and skip the cold winter, to have my rehabilitation there.

Perhaps it even gave more mentally support to my confidence!

I thought my voice was clear, but slow, and I felt my situation not so well, but tried to be as normal as I could be.

Thanks to our daughter Shinta, I came in contact with a handicap home in Jakarta named "Cheshire home!

A home created by a bomb aircraft man from England, who later became very rich and with a bad conscience from the many lives of his bombs had taken; he donated much of his wealth to charity type Cheshire home.

I previously had been an excellent table tennis player so I could become the coach of table tennis club for wheelchairs. My routine still there for me, that was a "lifting" mentally!

I was seemed to go in the right way!

Car driving of assessment in the Vogels Traffic school

Hello!

Finally time! For the 1995 November 3.

Vogels traffic school to make a driving assessment of me. And I saw to it with pleasure.

We started to drive in a Volvo 70 automatic gearbox, and I felt strong in myself that it would go well.

I had an advantage that I previously worked as a traffic engineer and was used to check/control traffic signs, so when I drove, I did not use the brain without my spine act as extra brains.

Naturally, was also my damaged brain in function when it came to assessing the various traffic situations.

Everything felt good and when I have been tested in various traffic situations in both urban/city and highway driving!

Test leader looked me closely about traffic lights and road signs and how I behaved myself at different traffic situations and when we finally were ready, so I got a big smile from the test leader, who said that I drove a car well.

The only criticism was that I had been driving where there was maximum speed 30 km / h and had been driving slightly too fast around 45-50 km / h but he added that he would perhaps have made the same. I received an envelope with the test's assessment to give to my doctor.

When the doctor read out the answer in the letter, it was that I had been driving well! WoW

So now I got the doctor permission to drive again!

Giving attention to a large group in society.

Before I continue my drive a car assessment were distributed, this is the post below important for those who do not know the "Cerebral dysfunction" = Brain damage.

Every year in Sweden, more than 50 000 persons got brain damage.

There is a wide range of causes for acquired brain injuries. Stroke, traffic accidents, bikes accidents, falls, drowning, meningitis, borealis/stuck diseases and so on.

For many who suffer, it will take a long time to recover.

Some will have to live with their consequences for a long time, perhaps a lifetime.

A brain injury does not become "stupid in the head,” 'which I thought before I was hit and happen to me.

What characterizes acquired brain injuries is that they often come suddenly?

An accident or a stroke can make a moment to change the whole life. Not only for those who suffer without partner, siblings, children.

Yes, for the whole family, where the entire life changed.

An acquired brain injury is an injury that is not inborn but damage to the brain after been born.

We know now that even a slight injury can bring grave consequences for school, work and personal entire life.

Memory, concentration, performance is affected and a common symptom is the difficult brain tiredness.

"I can not stand and think at the same time," says one that suffer from a brain damage.

We all know about us in again to forget the keys, names, etc.

But remember that this happens every time, every day and that you become so tired that we not able to read and think at the same time.

Back to Sweden

Hello!

We came back to Sweden after been in Indonesia and I continued my "training" at the Danderyd hospital, it had now gone a year since my injury.

I earnestly continued my training in the swimming pool at the hospital to stand at the edge and training to be able to turn the body to both right and left, only with a view to soon driving a car again.

I met in the meantime a lot of friends who had similar brain damage (But not as tramuatic as my) but still needed hospital help.

While my training, turn the body right and left began to show results. I could almost "hit a knot in myself at the waist."

I also started to autumn 1995 "nagging" on our department doctor that I wanted to start driving a car again.

Some light came during late autumn 1995, that the department doctor promised to write a referral to the driving simulator that existed at the Karolinska hospital.

I felt strong in myself that I could drive a car again; When I got permission from doctors to drive a car again.

I felt somewhat later a "setback" when the department doctor informed me that such a queue and difficult to have time to use the driving-simulator at the Karolinska and the doctor saw perhaps my grim face.

The next day, I got happy news that the doctor would write a referral to the Vogels driving school, that specialises to check in disabled driving skills/ability.

How it happened I will inform in the next speech!

Overseas after damage

The first journey after the damage

Hello!

I have just learnt my self to walk with asist from Danderyd hospital and my speech is now quite clear, but slowly.

Both my wife Ettie and I have been informed that the cold weather can be bad for me so we had to take my savings money and advance from my future compensation for damages from traffic insurance-corporation and fly to my wife's home country Indonesia.

We stayed there a few months until I continued my rehabilitation in day care in Danderyd hospital.

The time in Indonesia was a "lifting time" for me.

I had to think about other things than my injury, for me it was good, besides language problem, when if I tried to speak English!

I was often answered "Maaf saya dari kampung, belum ada guru bahasa Ingris" = Sorry but I am from the village, and not yet had a teacher in English language.

So I have to comunicate, by gesticulate with my hands and body language.

My wife Ettie searched in every way an alternative health care and I remember one gentleman who was trying with a coins, by scraping my right arm in order to wake up my nerves because I could hardly open my right hand.

It was painful and I was too brain damaged to be able to experience any result besides that I now more easy could open my right hand.

But it did not damaged me, so OK. I took every chance to be well again even if it did hurt!

That was my life in Indonesia and I think afterwards that it was very good for me.

After a few months we came back to Sweden and Danderyd Hospital and continued to day care in the hospital.

I will continue later with my further attempts to "get back" and well again!

Continuation of Danderyd Hospital

Hello!

I continue as I promised on my adventures in Danderyd hospital and after about 5 months seated in a wheelchair that I was worthless to use, the
physiotherapist (gym therapist) plane teach me how to walk again!

I was restrained at a pillar of the first learn how to stand and then I thought, never a agin to a wheelchair! After some time to be restrained at a pillar, and then came gym therapist with walking table so I go first with the support of the arms are about to walking table, hobbling take a few steps forward! WOW

It felt incredible! What happened?

A few days later could move my table replaced by a walking frame (rollator), and it felt even better.

I had been forbidden to drive a car. But somewhere in me there was a strong view of that drive again.

So every time I was in the hospital's swimming pool, so in addition to swim and walk as I used to stand at the edge of the pool training in being able to twist the body in both the left and right only views given to me on a day to be able to drive a car, it must be able to have oversight in both directions.

I had been transferred from institutionalised unit to day care unit!

I was only institutionalised about 5 months and could now with a taxi ride each weekday to Danderyd hospital and could live at home!

I have repressed the first time; I got to have napkins as a baby, because I could not control my natural needs!

Afterwards I feel most sorry for my wife Ettie.

I will continue later with my adventures at the Danderyd hospital!

Arriving to Danderyd rehabilitation Hospital

So I arrived to Danderyd rehabilitation Hospital with a bus that was specifically for the transport of persons seated in a wheelchair.


My first memory was that I met a speech therapeutic that hardly could understand what I was trying to say, because I have been told that I spoke slurred, weak and slowly.



I remember only that I felt that it was so hard to speak. And other people looked wrong and in a strange way to me.

I found it difficult to believe, that I spoke perfect English when I have just woken up from my coma.


Well the speech therapists wanted me to start practicing with her, and I started training that I felt, despite well-experienced quite meaningless.


I experienced life when fairly hopeless!


In working therapy unit, it was a therapist in the name of Pia as "nagging" to break me that I would be exaggerating to vocalize and concentrate on articulation.

For each time I was there so used to Pia with the mouth gestures with the intent to remind me of articulation and it was god for in some time after I had left splutter and began to speak clearly, but so slowly that those who listened almost fell asleep. Ha ha


But life had started to brighten somewhat, but I was still in a wheelchair as I was useless to use on my body right side of poor motor skills.

SO when the gym therapist would try to teach me to walk again. I WAS THINKING!

Hello!

My last speech was about how my injury came to, and now I have with the ambulance arrived emergency Karolinska Hospital.

I was deeply unconscious and can reconstruct this after what I had been told!

Doctors had informed my family that I might not survive all the injuries and if I survived, I would be like a piece and have aphasia.

The first time I was 8 days in a coma and I have been told that I was in bed lying so harmonious, and most visitors thought I gave the good energy when they visited me, and when I woke up, so I spoke no Swedish, but English that was not an English school English, and the staff thought I was English man from Oxford.

Then they could see my name plate Göte Burström and then understand that I was Swedish, but everyone thought I worked there before but then I had never at that time been in England.

I later proceeded according to a working-mate whose father came from northern (Lappland)Sweden to an ancient old diaclect which now hardly any longer exist.

After five weeks the hospital could mobilise up to a wheelchair. On those five weeks, I have only three fragments in memory

1. My wife drove me with a chair that had big wheels and I thought we were in Norrtälje a small town totally other place.

2. Hans who was my friend and a witness came to see me and because I almost refused food, he joked and said that Göte tend to hunt moose, so he may want to just have that meat. Then saw a smile from me and began to hope that I can be well!

3. I experienced a lot of porcelein clang when Ettie my wife offered coffee and cake at my movement for rehabilitation at the Danderyd hospital.

Hello!

1994, I was "knocked down" of 2 motorcross-bikes when I walked in on a walking / cycle path, where the first drove of my right leg, and when I was driven down so I was hit by cross motor- bike number 2, of the pedal flat to the right side of my forehead globe !

The hit was so strong that even so, that even two people where sitting on the motor bike at a speed about 70 km / h flew in the air, but they became not injured themselves, and escape and could link run from the place
Fortunately, so did a friend walk around with his dog and could see the whole accident course.


Probably my friend saved my life, because I was on the back and had started to "rattle" of the tongue closed to my airway and Hans my friends name, he could be with your fingers to move the tongue which was against the throat so I could breathe again. Hans was able to see the brain in the hole in the right forehead globe that the pedal on the motorcycle did.

Since Hans could make to the residents nearby to call for emergency car and ambulance.

What is bizarre is that the dog Hans went out with, JUST the day chose to go against my site of the accident and not as usual in the other direction.

Can the dog have imagined what would happen????

Luckily the emergency car was nearby and could quickly come to my rescue, and the ambulance was soon in place for transport to the Karolinska hospital! I will continue later with information on how the outcome!
