The first journey after the damage

Hello!

I have just learnt my self to walk with asist from Danderyd hospital and my speech is now quite clear, but slowly.

Both my wife Ettie and I have been informed that the cold weather can be bad for me so we had to take my savings money and advance from my future compensation for damages from traffic insurance-corporation and fly to my wife's home country Indonesia.

We stayed there a few months until I continued my rehabilitation in day care in Danderyd hospital.

The time in Indonesia was a "lifting time" for me.

I had to think about other things than my injury, for me it was good, besides language problem, when if I tried to speak English!

I was often answered "Maaf saya dari kampung, belum ada guru bahasa Ingris" = Sorry but I am from the village, and not yet had a teacher in English language.

So I have to comunicate, by gesticulate with my hands and body language.

My wife Ettie searched in every way an alternative health care and I remember one gentleman who was trying with a coins, by scraping my right arm in order to wake up my nerves because I could hardly open my right hand.

It was painful and I was too brain damaged to be able to experience any result besides that I now more easy could open my right hand.

But it did not damaged me, so OK. I took every chance to be well again even if it did hurt!

That was my life in Indonesia and I think afterwards that it was very good for me.

After a few months we came back to Sweden and Danderyd Hospital and continued to day care in the hospital.

I will continue later with my further attempts to "get back" and well again!
