Hello!

We came back to Sweden after been in Indonesia and I continued my "training" at the Danderyd hospital, it had now gone a year since my injury.

I earnestly continued my training in the swimming pool at the hospital to stand at the edge and training to be able to turn the body to both right and left, only with a view to soon driving a car again.

I met in the meantime a lot of friends who had similar brain damage (But not as tramuatic as my) but still needed hospital help.

While my training, turn the body right and left began to show results. I could almost "hit a knot in myself at the waist."

I also started to autumn 1995 "nagging" on our department doctor that I wanted to start driving a car again.

Some light came during late autumn 1995, that the department doctor promised to write a referral to the driving simulator that existed at the Karolinska hospital.

I felt strong in myself that I could drive a car again; When I got permission from doctors to drive a car again.

I felt somewhat later a "setback" when the department doctor informed me that such a queue and difficult to have time to use the driving-simulator at the Karolinska and the doctor saw perhaps my grim face.

The next day, I got happy news that the doctor would write a referral to the Vogels driving school, that specialises to check in disabled driving skills/ability.

How it happened I will inform in the next speech!
